Brendan Ogloff
Brendan joined Kalos with the goal of maximizing value to clients after spending four years with a private equity and asset management firm. He was a key member in executing numerous acquisitions, financings and capital deployment initiatives amounting to $Billion+ in transaction value.
In addition to M&A, Brendan led the financial, regulatory and compliance functions for a corporate group of 20+ entities including financial reporting, structuring, valuation, tax, treasury, insurance and legal, with annual revenues ranging between $20-$30 million.
Brendan articled and completed his Chartered Professional Accountant designation with Collins Barrow Calgary LLP, which helped him build a well-rounded foundation of knowledge in assurance, advisory and tax. He completed engagements for both public and private clients with a primary focus in energy, land development and financial services sectors.
Brendan holds a Bachelor of Management in Accounting with Honours from the University of British Columbia. While at UBC, Brendan co-created a program to enhance services for the Disability Resource Center. In his spare time, Brendan enjoys staying active with his wife Jean.
